We Love Villa David-A Home Away From Home
Next year will be our 14th year for our winter vacation at Villa David. It has clearly become our home away from New York City. Owners Bill and David are wonderful hosts who made us feel welcome and at home. The full American breakfast always has a variety of choices. The tasteful decor and wonderful ambience is peaceful and relaxing. The staff is extremely competent and professional. We can't wait to visit in 2019.

NOT close to beach or bars!! The owner/manger Bill is a rude,bitter, old queen! You can read his responses to reviews on trip advisor to get a feel for his attitude!
Worth the climb
It's a bit of a climb from the Malecon, but this lovely inn is worth it. The mix of rooms, some with killer views, surround a quiet courtyard. It's a quieter neighborhood than los muertos, but still within easy walking distance from anywhere you'd want to go. And there's an amazing hole-in-the-wall seafood restaurant down the block that could be the best in Vallarta.

Great Place - Don't Tell Anyone About It
Villa David is in the Old town above the Maelcon in a neighbourhood that is mostly Mexican, only one or two Gringos. Bill and the staff do a knockout job on the place and making you feel at home. Nice touch is one of the houseboys is a Registered Massage therapist and does an incredible job. It's away from the tackiness of the beach area and the guys who stay there are friendly, and great to spend time with. KEEP THIS PLACE A SECRET!
